One of the primary objectives of STARS is supporting, building and leading projects and campaigns as we have done in the past and continue to do now.

STARS Education

The project aims to educate teachers, staff and carers on syncope and to train them in condition management. The STARS Education programme provides information and advice for parents, teachers, carers and children on how to cope with syncope in their learning environment.

Syncope and Falls in the Elderly (SaFE)

2009 for STARS saw the development of the Syncope and Falls in the Elderly (SaFE) project concerned with syncope in older people. The project aims to promote accurate diagnosis and treatment of syncope and raise awareness of its link with falls.

Rapid Access T-LOC Clinic

In the near future STARS and Arrhythmia Alliance will be launching the new Rapid Access Transient Loss of Consciousness website for medical professionals, hosted by STARS.

Arrhythmia Awareness Week

Arrhythmia Awareness Week (AAAW) 8th - 14th June 2009 presented a unique opportunity for STARS to promote awareness of its current work whilst supporting the overriding theme of 'Know Your Pulse' as an affiliate member of Arrhythmia Alliance.
