Each donation you make means a great deal to us. Funds raised by our members go towards our members, as STARS develops resources and projects that benefit patients and medical professionals.
We have several ongoing projects and campaigns that your donation helps support.
- Helping our little stars…Shine a light on Education - provides information and advice for parents and children on how to cope with syncope in their learning environment. Read more.
- Helping older adults…Syncope and Falls in the Elderly (SaFE) - provides information and advice to older adults (55 years +), their families, carers, care workers, medical professionals on syncope. Read more.
- Raising public and medical awareness…Arrhythmia Awareness Week (AAAW) June 2010 - presents an opportunity for STARS to promote its current work whilst supporting the overriding theme of ‘Know Your Pulse’ as an affiliate member of Arrhythmia Alliance.
Donation Options
There are many ways to donate to STARS, whether it is a one off or regular donation.
Please remember to ‘Gift Aid’ your donation. At no extra cost to you, Gift Aid really does make an extra difference to us. Gift Aid allows STARS to claim tax back from HM Revenue & Customs on all of your donations. If you are a UK taxpayer STARS can reclaim the tax you have paid on every donation you make.
