Regional Cardiac Update Meetings 2012

'Your Heart in Your Hands'

A cardiac update meeting for all healthcare professionals involved in the care and provision of arrhythmias services, including treatment of heart rhythm disorders such as atrial fibrillation.

This one day meeting will provide a forum  for primary, secondary and tertiary healthcare professionals, cardiac networks and commissioners interested in atrial fibrillation and device therapy. Topics will include an update on GRASP-AF, the impact of different treatments on an AF patient and how to improve the outcomes. Plus it will provide an opportunity to assess local services when it comes to device therapy and how this may be enhanced. As well as focusing on preventative care for syncope in the elderly population.
